Description
Famous as a military fighting knife, the Kukri is the most commonly used knife in the fields and homes of Nepal.
Here we have a war time period Kukri knife in superb condition with a very interesting scabbard.
The blade is unmarked but impressive and very clean with a nicely carved out wooden grip, secured with a riveted brass plate. Kukri knives are known for being extremely strong and durable.
The leather scabbard shows wear but very minimal with buckles and straps present and all stitching intact. On the rear we have the original owners military issue number. A possibility for some research to be done here. On the front we have a very unique painted logo. Although it looks very familiar to certain regiments, unfortunately I’m unable to find the exact one.
A very unique Kukri knife with the possibility to be researched.
