A very attractive original set of 2nd Model Luftwaffe deluxe dagger hangers, complete and untouched, retaining their original silver bullion brocade straps and ornate fittings. A quality wartime set.

Hangers & Fittings
The metal fittings retain decorative detail throughout, including the desirable embellished upper mount, deluxe rectangular adjustment buckles and matching decorated lower clips. The reverse of the upper fitting is marked U.E.10 with RZM roundel, while D.R.G.M. markings are present to the lower clips and fittings.

Straps
The original silver bullion brocade straps remain in very good condition with well-preserved felt backing and sound stitching throughout.

Overall
A desirable original set of WW2 German 2nd Model Luftwaffe dagger hangers, D.R.G.M. marked, and in excellent condition. An ideal accompaniment to a quality Luftwaffe officer’s dagger.

Historical Note
The 2nd Model Luftwaffe Officer’s Dagger was introduced in 1937, replacing the earlier First Model pattern. These suspension hangers formed part of the officer’s dress accoutrements and remain sought after by collectors today.
