Description

An original WW2 German P08 / Luger loading and stripping tool, retaining its Waffenamt acceptance marking and showing honest wartime wear throughout.

Constructed from blued steel, this compact multi-purpose tool was designed for use with the famous German P08 Luger pistol, serving as both a loading aid and maintenance tool for field stripping and basic servicing. Original examples remain highly collectable today, particularly those retaining visible military acceptance markings.

The tool bears a clear “WaA140” Waffenamt stamp beneath the German eagle inspection mark, indicating wartime military acceptance. The marking remains visible despite age-related finish wear and patina acquired through genuine period use and storage.

Condition is good overall for age and type, with attractive honest wear to the original finish, age-related surface marks, and handling wear consistent with a genuine wartime-used accessory. The piece remains structurally solid and displays very well, with clear machining detail and a strong original character throughout.

A scarce and increasingly desirable original accessory for the collector of WW2 German militaria, Luger equipment, or wartime pistol accessories.
