WW2 German K98 Bayonet & Frog – Richard Abr Herder – 1942
£230.00 SKU: 0109MHere we have a good condition K98 bayonet complete with leather frog. The blade is particularly nice with 90% of the blueing remaining and has never been sharpened. The number on the blade is "9661"and on the rear of the blade it reads "clc 1942" this tells us the maker is "Richard Abr Herder". The bakelite grip plates are in excellent condition and held in place by two screw bolts. The rifle retaining button is in full working order and there are two waffen amt stamps to the rear of the upper pommel. The cross guard, hilt and flashguard are all in great condition showing no damage. The scabbard is numbered "3063" and has been painted black at some stage, which still shows 95% of the paint remaining. The bayonet fits the scabbard perfectly and comes complete with a leather frog and retaining strap. The frog does show wear but is still strong and shows no damaged. -
WW2 German Army Officers Dagger (Eickhorn)
£995.00 SKU: 0108MHere we have an extremely nice army officers dress dagger made by Eickhorn, which was one of the foremost manufactures of these daggers and known for their high quality craftmanship and attention to detail. The grip on this dagger is one of the most sought after by collectors and not a colour we see very often, it's a beautiful deep red to the front but blends into a more orange colour to the back. This is a great example of how celluloid grips change colour over the years due to the environment they are kept in. All the metal fittings on this dagger show no damage and are typical high quality Eickhorn fittings made inhouse at the Eickhorn factory. The scabbard bands, pommel and crossguard really show off the attention to detail used in making these daggers. We can see that this dagger has not been cleaned for many years and has therefor developed a lovely dark patina which compliments the grip. The blade does show some light surface staining but it also has full cross grain running the length of the blade both sides and forming a good tip. The knot is in perfect condition and it comes complete with a good set of deluxe straps with decorative buckles and clips and leather tabs at the top fitting. This is a really nice set. -
WW1 German 84/98 Bayonet (sawback)
£325.00 SKU: 0107MHere we have a German 84/98 sawback bayonet that was designed to be mounted on the Mauser Gewehr 98 rifle, which was the standard issue rifle for German soldiers during WW1. The wooden grips are undamaged and in very nice condition, which are held in place by two screw bolts. The rifle retaining button is in good working order although the metal hilt and flash guard do show pitting. The blade is very clean and bright with the end of the blade forming a nice point. The maker on the rear ricasso reads "Bontgen & Sabin Solingen" and there is also an inspection stamp on the edge of the blade. There is surface pitting to the scabbard but it is also nice and straight and the correct type for this bayonet. This bayonet has been period painted black and still has 95% of the paint still remaining, which is unusual to find being WW1. There are several reasons why many bayonets were painted during WW1, one being, corrosion resistance, particularly in harsh and muddy conditions like trench warfare, another being reduced glare, which could possibly give a soldiers position away, also a dark colour bayonet could help camouflage and blend in to certain conditions. Overall a very collectable bayonet that have become hard to find with good blades. -
Belgium Tommy Doll
£135.00 SKU: 0031AWW2 Belgium Tommy dolls, similar to their British counterparts, were toy soldiers that represented Belgian soldiers during and after World War 2. These dolls played a significant role in maintaining morale and educating children about the war efforts. This one here, does have some repaired damage to the side of the head, however, thankfully, the part that’s been damaged is the SIDES of the head. When these dolls are made, two halves of the head are attached together and then painted. Here, the two sides have come apart and repaired. Thankfully, the beret covers most of it. Other than some damage to the head and some general wear and tear on the fabric, this doll is in a good overall condition. There are no stains or pulls on the fabric. On the left shoulder, there’s a Belgium flag. We also believe this one was made in Holland. These dolls are VERY collectable and dolls of Belgium soldiers aren’t seen every day. -
WW2 German SA Dagger – Transitional – Near Mint Blade –
£995.00 SKU: 0105MHere we have a transitional SA dagger in superb condition. The transitional period of SA daggers started from around 1935/1936. During this time there were changes in manufacturing standards and materials. The earliest S.A. daggers came with higher quality solid nickle fittings and anodised scabbards, where as later made S.A. daggers came with painted scabbards, nickle plated fittings and the RZM logo on the blade. During this change over period we encounter S.A. daggers that have traits from both early and later materials. This S.A. dagger comes with solid nickle fittings apart from the top crossguard which is nickle plated. The wooden grip is undamaged with a solid nickle eagle nicely placed in the centre of the grip, along with an S.A. enamel rune. The blade is absolutely stunning with full cross grain running the full length of the blade on both sides. Being a transitional piece we see that it has the Eickhorn trade mark along with a RZM logo. The scabbard is undamaged and has 99% of its original dark brown paint still remaining. The dagger fits the scabbard perfectly with a nice snug fit. This really is a great example of a mid period transitional S.A. dagger. -
WW2 German Early SA Dagger
£1,095.00 SKU: 0091MThis is an excellent example of an early S.A. dagger with a blade that has cross grain running the full length of the blade on both sides. The “Alles Fur Deutfchland” motto is nicely etched and shows a stippled background. The maker on the blade reads GEBR. HELLER. This maker is ranked number four on the McSarr rarity chart.
Good condition wooden grip with nicely inserted S.A rune and detailed eagle. Solid nickel silver crossguards with the bottom crossguard being gau marked “th”. This mark stands for Thuringen and tells us that this was the original issue location.
The brown anodised scabbard is undamaged and fitted with nickle silver fittings that has all four screws in place. From the colour of the nickel fittings we can see that they haven’t been cleaned for a long time and completely match the same colour as the nickle crossguards on the handle. The blade fits the scabbard perfectly with a nice smooth fit.
This is a great example of a superb blade.

WW2 Anti-Gas Eyeshields Mk II
£18.00 SKU: 0024AThese eye-shields were protective eyewear issued to British and Commonwealth forces during World War 2. Their primary purpose was to protect soldiers' eyes from chemical warfare agents and other battlefield hazards, such as dust and debris. There are two left in this pack, and it comes with the original paper packaging as well as original cardboard sleeve. On the front, it’s dated 1941 and the back has a helpful list of instructions as well. The paper packaging on the inside, while all intact has definitely seen some wear and there’s some light spotting as well which comes from the treated fabric of the frame of the eye-shields. There are a couple of very minor tears on the paper packaging, and also along the perforations too but overall, very good condition. The two eye-shields themselves are in near mint condition and the celluloidparts have no damage either. -
WW2 Box of Arabis Cigarettes
£80.00 SKU: 0021AThe Arabis brand of cigarettes comes from circa 1938 and was one of many tobacco brands during this period. They were actually manufactured by various companies and were considered as a mid-range product. This box contains 41 cigarettes. Made out of cardboard with a paper overlay design and typical shoe-box style lid. On the sides, “ARABIS ZIGARETTEN” can be seen, on the adjacent sides, “50 ARABIS FLACH” can be seen – which tells us this is nearly a full box. Some of the paper outerpart of the overlay has been torn, and the corners of the lid have come apart but as a box, it st ill functions. On the inside of the lid, there’s more text which roughly translates to tell us the tobacco inside is oriental. Under that, there’s more text which doesn’t translate well into English but essentially means, not for resale. Meaning, this is to be sold as a complete box.
