  • Excellent condition set of deluxe pattern army straps as worn by a WW11 German Army Officer. The deluxe straps come with decorative pattern spring loaded clips including top fitting, front and back material are in excellent condition. A must to any army officers dagger.
  • The Fire Guard was made up of both men and women, all volunteers. There was no official uniform and most just wore civilian clothes. However, they would be issued with a helmet, an armband, torch and a means of dealing with small fires. This Fire Guard steel helmet with original liner still has most of its white paint covering it, though some has come off through the years. Chin strap missing. The liner also has a VERY faint marking on it. The “FG” on the front of the helmet however is still in good condition and clearly visible but, it has begun to crack.
  • WW1 German Boot Knife

    £245.00 SKU: 0001M

A genuine First World War era German private-purchase fighting knife, often referred to by collectors as a “boot knife.” These non-regulation knives were commercially produced and widely carried by German soldiers, purchased privately rather than officially issued.

    Blade
Plain, unmarked steel blade with no inspection or acceptance stamp present, as commonly encountered on privately purchased examples. The blade remains clean with a well-defined profile and pointed tip, showing light age toning consistent with wartime manufacture and long-term storage. There is no evidence of grinding, reshaping, or later interference.

    Hilt & Grips
Wooden grip scales are intact and secure, showing honest handling wear but no cracks or damage. The grooved grip profile remains clearly defined. The simple steel crossguard is firm and undisturbed, fitting tightly to the blade.

    Scabbard
Original steel scabbard retaining a good amount of its original blackened factory finish. The body remains straight, with no dents or crushing. Wear to the finish is consistent with age and use.

    Leather & Suspension
Original leather belt loop and retention strap remain present. The leather shows age and wear but remains strong and supple. The press-stud fastener is intact and fully functional, which is not always encountered on surviving examples and is a genuine plus point.

    Overall
A solid, honest WWI German private-purchase fighting knife, offered without exaggeration. An authentic trench-era piece retaining original components throughout and presenting exactly as a privately carried wartime knife should.

    Recommended Reference
German Combat Knives 1914–1945 by Christian Méry.
An excellent reference work featuring outstanding colour photography and clear, well-researched coverage of German combat knives. Highly recommended.

We sell to the USA, Europe, and most worldwide destinations.

  • Coldstream Guards Uniform

    £195.00 SKU: 0002M

The Coldstream Guards was formed in 1650 and is the oldest continuously serving regular regiment in the British Army. During the Second World War 1939, the first and second battalions went to France with the British Expeditionary Force. The Coldstream Guards saw action in North Africa and all over Europe.

This jacket and trouser set was worn by G.E.B. Woodhouse, a member of the Coldstream Guards. Although faint, the name was written on the jacket label. As this uniform was owned and worn, there are typical wear marks such as under the arms on the jacket both inside and out. But, all buttons are present, secure and accurate. The stitching is overall in good condition and considering this was not only issued but worn and named this is an excellent piece of history with a story behind it from Britain's oldest continuously serving regular regiment.
