Description
This is an absolute stunning example of an East German Admiral’s dagger in mint condition.
The attractive metal fitting on this dagger still retain 100% of their original gilded finish. The pommel and upper scabbard fitting proudly show the German state insignia, featuring a hammer and compass. The plain nickle-plated blade is in pristine condition and bears the serial number “522” stamped on the ricasso.
The Navy hangers with gold bullion facing material and dark blue felt backing, are in mint condition and extremely similar to WW2 German 2nd pattern Luftwaffe straps, with very similar oak leaf embellished buckles. The dagger also comes with a matching gold belt loop with a dark blue felt backing.
This is a mint example and impossible to upgrade.
