Description
The German M1968 knife, also known as the “Bundeswehr knife,” is a robust and versatile tool designed for the German military. It typically features a fixed blade with a distinctive clip-point design.
The blade is typically made of stainless steel (this one is stainless steel) or carbon steel to ensure durability and edge retention. The handle is typically made of durable materials such as synthetic or composite materials (polymers).
This one here has 95% of the paint remaining on the scabbard. The leather to the frog is supple and not cracked. There’s a tiny dent on the scabbard at the bottom end but it doesn’t catch the eye and the frog retaining clip opens and closes just fine. There’s a maker engraving of “FKS 70” on the blade which can be read clearly.
