This original WW2 US M-1944 Type B-8 goggles set is a complete and highly displayable example of late-war American military issue, most commonly associated with the US Army Air Forces.

Introduced in 1944, the M-1944 pattern represented a more modern approach to protective eyewear, featuring a lightweight rubber frame and plastic lenses designed to offer improved safety and comfort over earlier glass types. These goggles were used in a variety of roles, from aircrew and ground personnel to vehicle crews, providing protection against wind, dust and glare in operational environments.

This is a complete set, comprising the original goggles, the correct issue box, and two spare green lenses, both still retained within their original paper packets. Sets like this are often found broken up or incomplete, so to have the goggles, lenses and packaging all together makes this a particularly desirable example for collectors.
