The King’s Royal Rifle Corps (KRRC) played a significant role in World War 1, fighting in Europe, Greece, Macedonia, and Russia.
The KRRC had more battle honors than any other British Army regiment by 1914. The regiment’s battle honors were inscribed on its badge, “as rifle units do not carry colours.”
