Description
The unsharpened blade is in mint condition with a perfect tip and all of its blueing remaining. The ricasso is stamped with the makers mark that reads, Simon & Co. Suhl.
The cross guard and upper pommel show mild age but no damage. The spring loaded press stud is in good working order. The front upper pommel is also numbered 3417. The wooden grip plates show some mild age but no cracks.
The scabbard is nice and straight and still shows 90% of its original blueing. There is one miner indentation to the scabbard, but very small.
Between 1904 and 1909 only 75,000 were produced due to Portugal`s financial difficulty at the time.
