A nice example of a WW2 British MK2 Tommy helmet.

This helmet is in good condition, retaining a large portion of its original paint and showing no signs of damage. There are markings on the inside of the shell, under the chin strap lug. However, due to age and wear, it is difficult to work out. See photos.

The helmet features a black oilskin liner, in good condition, with crucifix form pad. The liner bears markings: “6 3/4” referring to the size, “VERO” the manufacturer, and “1939” indicating the production year.

Helmet is complete with its original spring loaded chin strap.
