WW2 British Machete.

This is a 1943-dated British-issued machete manufactured by J.J. Binns, used by Commonwealth forces during WW2. These machetes were commonly deployed in jungle warfare, especially in the Burma and Pacific campaigns.

The blade is dated 1943 and features a full-tang construction and held in place by 5 large rivets. It remains bright, though, it shows expected signs of use including pitting, scratches, and wear consistent with service.

The leather scabbard is dated 1944 and is in solid condition, with all its stitching intact, and complete with its leather securing tags.
