Here we have a very impressive limited edition set by Wilkinson Sword that honors the bravery and sacrifices of those who participated in the Battle of Britain during WW2.

The pommel bears the Royal Air Force insignia and is nicely done on a stippled back ground. The blade is in mint condition and reads “Dedicated To The Royal Air Force-Victors Of The Battle Of Britain, 1940”. The leather scabbard is in excellent condition with all the hand stitching intact. The metal fittings are in excellent condition although there is some gold plating missing to the lower scabbard fitting.

This complete set would make a lovely display piece.
