Here we have a nice uncleaned German army officers dagger, that has developed an appealing patina on its metal fittings. The undamaged celluloid grip is a particular nice orange colour and has a subtle variation in shade to the reverse of the grip compared to the front. These subtle differences are what I personally enjoy seeing and gives character to the item. The matching generic fittings are made of an heavy construction, contrasting to the lighter weight late war examples. All Fittings including the scabbard are in excellent condition, showing no signs of damage or indentations.

The blade is non marker marked and is in great condition, with an impressive amount of cross grain running the entire length of the blade on both sides down to a good tip. The scabbard is undamaged and fits the blade perfectly. A nice Dagger.
