Description

Here we have a German army officers dagger made by the Alcoso company.

The Alcoso company was prolific in producing large quantities of dress daggers during the  thirties into the early forties. There were a few variations made of this particular army dress dagger and the crossguard on this variations tells us this dagger would date between 1937-1940. We can also see that this dagger hasn’t been cleaned for many years as the metal fittings have developed a nice patina look to them. The white celluloid grip shows some light wear but no damage or cracks.

The blade on this dagger is absolutely stunning and easily rates as mint. Impossible to be disappointed with this blade. This dagger comes with a great condition set of army straps that has all of its stitching intact and are equipped with aluminium buckles and clips.
