Description
The Deutsche Rotes Kreuz (DRK) or German red cross provided emergency assistance during disasters in Germany during WW2.
This black leather medical pouch is in excellent condition. showing no signs of damage with all of its stitching intact. Even the leather side tabs that secure the lid down are in good condition. These tabs are normally the first things to show wear due to the opening and closing of the lid.
The leather is dated 43 and stamped with D.R.K. (German red cross) Sanitatslager (medical supply camp) Babelsberg, a location in German. It is also stamped with the number 17, this could be a reference to a specific unit or an inventory number.
Excellent condition.
