WW2 German RAD Belt Buckle + Leather Tab

SKU: 0135M

Description

This RAD belt buckle is in excellent untouched condition, displaying fine details as to be expected. It was used by enlisted men and NCOs of the Reichsarbeitsdienst “RAD”. The buckle is crafted from aluminum, with the front being 90% stippled. The reverse side is unmarked, this is not unusual to find as not all manufacturers stamped their items.
The brown leather tab is attached to the buckle and is the correct colour for the RAD. It is in good strong condition with all its stitching intact. The leather bears a faint maker’s mark and date within an oval stamp. Though only the year “37” and some of the maker’s name is visible.
A very nice uncleaned example.
