Here we have a WW2 Italian Fascist youth knife, it is highly ornate and was produced for the G.I.L cadets. The brass handle features intricate detailing of the eagle’s head and feathering, complemented by a floral design ferrule and a simple, straight crossguard. The black wooden grips have 100% of it’s original black paint and are in perfect condition.
However, it’s important to note that the brass handle’s wire wrap is missing, as are the red glass eyes, which is reflected in the price. These elements can be replaced if the new owner desires.
The double-edged blade is clean and in good condition. Although I’m not familiar with accompanying leather scabbard, it fits really well and looks as though it could be from that period, but its not the standard leather scabbard we normally see with these youth daggers.
