Description

Here we have a very nice condition K98 with matching numbers.

The bakelite grips are a dark brown colour and in excellent condition. The hilt and crossguard are in good condition with two waffenamt stamps to the back of the hilt, one just above the flashguard and one on the front of the spring loaded button.

The blade is in superb condition with 95% of blueing remaining. If you look real close at the edge of the blade its possible someone has attempted to sharpen it , but you really do have to look close to notice it. Numbers on the blade read 1845 and the spine is dated 1939. Maker is W.K.C.

Nice condition metal scabbard with the colour matching the hilt and crossguard. Waffenamt stamp to the lower ball. There are a couple of very minor indentations on the rear of the scabbard, but hard to spot.

Numbers on the front of scabbard 1845. Back of scabbard reads W.K.C. 1939
