Description

This is the Spanish model M1941 Bolo bayonet, and was the standard issued bayonet with the 8mm mauser M1943 short rifle.

The blade on this example is nice and bright and in excellent condition. On the ricasso we see the usual crown over the initials NF, which tells us its from the Toledo arms factory.

On the obverse side of the ricasso is the serial number 6504, this also matches the serial number on the scabbard. The checkered wooden grips show light wear with minor indentations but nothing major. The spring loaded rifle retaining button is in working order and attached to the attractive birds head style pommel.

The scabbard has lost about 50% of the original black paint, but is nice and straight and undamaged.

Overall a very decent example.
