  • Coldstream Guards Uniform

    £195.00 SKU: 0002M

The Coldstream Guards was formed in 1650 and is the oldest continuously serving regular regiment in the British Army. During the Second World War 1939, the first and second battalions went to France with the British Expeditionary Force. The Coldstream Guards saw action in North Africa and all over Europe.

This jacket and trouser set was worn by G.E.B. Woodhouse, a member of the Coldstream Guards. Although faint, the name was written on the jacket label. As this uniform was owned and worn, there are typical wear marks such as under the arms on the jacket both inside and out. But, all buttons are present, secure and accurate. The stitching is overall in good condition and considering this was not only issued but worn and named this is an excellent piece of history with a story behind it from Britain's oldest continuously serving regular regiment.
