The iconic and famous Micky Mouse gas mask, worn by allied children during WW2. Made to look like the famous cartoon character of the same name to lessen the horror of the war, and also having to wear a gas mask. One can only imagine what it would be like for a child.

This one here is in EXCELLENT condition. The rubber is still very supple, as if brand new, the elastic straps that go around the head are in the same condition; excellent and still stretch as if new. Even the covering for the eyes are unblemished, devoid of scratches. The blue filter has no dents which is uncommon for gas mask filters – they often receive dents.

The box is in a fair condition, no rips or tears and still has the fabric strap. The outside shows signs of wear on the corners and the inside has no damage or markings with the exception of the instructions printed on the inside of the lid. Clearly, this mask has been stored in the box as it’s in excellent condition and is a great example overall of a piece of WW2 history, specifically for children.
