Description

A nice set of Japanese Army field binoculars, manufactured by Inoue Kogaku Kogyo (I.K.K.), one of the principal optics suppliers to the Japanese military during the Second World War.

These 6×9.3 binoculars were standard issue to Japanese officers and scouts, offering a wide field of view and excellent optical clarity for their time. The right prism cover is clearly marked with the I.K.K. oval logo, serial No. 11084, and “J.E.S.” (Japanese Engineering Standards), indicating regulation military production.

The binoculars come complete with their original brown leather case, which features intact brass fittings and detailed hand-applied red Japanese kanji script-potentially a name, unit, or inventory number, adding a personal wartime touch. the leather case strap is present, as is the neck strap on the binoculars themselves.
